This Japanese restaurant was born in early 2015, and aims to be a tribute to Aya (one of the best Japonese restaurants ever in Lisbon, that has closed down a few years ago).
At Go Juu there is huge care with the aesthetics of the meal (from decoration of the room to the dishes it self), the freshness of the fish is remarkable, the menu is wide enough, and the service friendly and effective ... for all of this we can say: mission accomplished!
Setting: Quiet and sophisticated
We loved: The TV's in the back, where you can watch the sushimen preparing your meal. Also to highlight the setting and the quality and authenticity of the cuisine
We hated: Nothing to point out
To taste:
- Eggplant with miso sauce
- Vegetable Tempura (light and crispy)
- Sushi to Sashimi (super fresh fish, carefully prepared)
Price per person: Approx € 30
A must go for: the purists and for those interested in widening the knowledge of Japanese cuisine (there is much more to life than Sushi to Sashimi)
Tip: For small groups (up to 2/3 people) book for the bar, where you can emerge further in the experience of Japanese cuisine.
Friendly Tip: It's best to book ahead
